Audience comments are always welcome as agenda items are discussed. In addition, the School Committee has set aside fifteen minutes on this Agenda to enable members of the audience to raise questions and make comments on any other matter of general concern. To facilitate this process, interested speakers are asked to provide the Superintendent or School Committee Chair with the nature of the question/comment, in writing, prior to the start of the meeting.
6. New Business.
6.1 To continue discussion on the exploration of a fee-based full day kindergarten program and to give direction to the school administration about next steps.
6.2 To act on the district’s submission to the MSBA of an updated Statement of Interest (SOI) regarding overcrowding and facility issues at Hingham Middle School.
6.3 To consider approval of the Superintendent/School Committee Goals for 2009-2010.
6.4 To consider approval of the 2009-2010 stipend for the Director of Continuing Education.
6.5 To receive information regarding a field trip of the Grade 7 & 8 Adventure Club to North River Paddling and Couch’s Beach Recreation Area October 17 & 18, 2009.
