the following courses are offered on Wednesday nights
ADULT/PEDIATRIC FRIENDS & FAMILY CPR/FBAO Wednesday: 6:00-9:00 p.m. Room: Seminar 1 Session: March 14 Tuition: $30 This basic life support course is designed for
lay rescuers who want to prepare themselves to help and protect others (namely
family members, friends and co-workers) in distress needing CPR or FBAO (Foreign
Body Airway Obstruction: Heimlick Maneuver).
This skills workshop will prepare students to perform CPR and intervene
in choking situations involving responsive adult victims, unresponsive adult
victims, children, and infants.
Instruction will be modeled after new protocols established by the American Heart
Association and released in April of 2006; a demonstration of the AED (Automated Early Defibulator) will be
included.
No written examination is required.
A $5.00 material's fee will be collected from each participant at the
beginning of the class for purchase of the newly revised AHA student text. This very useful and practical three-hour
course is open to everyone, whether you have taken a CPR course before or not.
To insure that your CPR knowledge and skills remain current, it is
