The Frank and
Ellen Cobb Scholarships for HHS Graduates
A portion of the funds given by Frank and Ellen Cobb is
set aside each year to be awarded to students who have graduated from
Hingham High School in previous years and are currently attending an
institution of higher learning
or are planning on enrolling in such an institution. Applications will
be available from the counseling office at the end of June and are due in
September.
All graduates of Hingham High School who have
completed at least one full year of undergraduate study are welcome to
apply for the Cobb Scholarships. However, applicants should be aware
that our first responsibility is to help those students who have the most
financial need and who are still in their undergraduate years. Thus,
students in law school, medical school and other graduate programs will
certainly be considered but undergraduate students will have first
consideration.
