1. You don't have to have a date for dances; they can be fun without one!

2. Freshman year counts towards your GPA...you are building your high school resume

3. Get involved in clubs and sports

4. Don't be afraid to talk to upper classmen

5. Don't crowd the hallways

6. Go to school events, such as athletic contests, the Lip Sync, Mr. HHS and the hypnotist

7. Enjoy freshman year...you only have four years of high school, so don't try to grow up too fast

8. If you are not doing well in a class, don't be afraid to go see the teacher for extra help!

9. Your school counselors are here for you; don't be afraid to talk to them...If you would rather talk to a student, there are peer mediators who can also help you out

10. Whatever you hear, you will not get stuffed in a locker or be pointed in the direction of the pool on the fourth floor...your fellow students can actually be pretty helpful!
