Audience comments are always welcome as agenda items are discussed.  In addition, the School     Committee has set aside fifteen minutes on this Agenda to enable members of the audience to     raise questions and make comments on any matter of general concern that is not on the agenda.   To facilitate this process, interested speakers are asked to provide the Superintendent or School Committee Chair with the nature of the question/comment, in writing, prior to the start of the meeting.

8.1    To hear from the Special Education Funding Working Group relative to: (1) a previously discussed piece of legislation and (2) a proposed lobbying plan, with any School Committee action as appropriate.

8.2    To hear a report from the Family and Consumer Science Department.

8.3    To act on 2014-2015 fees for Kids in Action, as recommended by the Policy Subcommittee

8.4    To act on 2014-2015 tuitions for typical children attending the Integrated Pre-K and Integrated Kindergarten programs, as recommended by the Policy Subcommittee.

8.5    To receive notification of the appointment of Colleen Houde as the Administrative Assistant to the High School Guidance, effective April 1, 2014.

8.6    To receive notification of the appointment of Raeanne Sullivan as the Assistant to High School Guidance, effective April 1, 2014.
8.7    To receive notification of the appointment of Kathleen Gorski as a Paraeducator at Hingham Middle School, effective March 3, 2014.

8.8    To consider approval of the home schooling application for William Echols (6th grade), Jonathan Echols (4th grade) and Charis Echols (1st grade) for the remainder of the 2013-2014 school year.

8.9    To receive notification of the coaching assignments for the Spring, 2014 season.

9.    Other items as may not reasonably be known 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
